Do you need study information and guides on Amateur Radio?

The links below should get you started. There is plenty of information on the Internet that will help you get a license. Unfortunately, the N.C.R.G. Exam service can NOT provide many details on study guides, exam details, or courses as we do not offer these services and they frequently change, especially in WA. Try going along to your local radio group meeting next time it is on and meet some fellow amateur operators. Study books are available from stores such as Dick Smith Electronics and Tower Communications . The following should be of some help though:

The Wireless Institute of Australia main information page.  http://members.iinet.net.au/~vk6wia/eduindex.html
VK2DQ theory course online in Acrobat format.  http://www.qsl.net/vk2dq/amateur.html or the main site at  http://www.radioelectronicschool.com
Peter Parker's very informative page for Amateur Radio information.  http://www.alphalink.com.au/~parkerp/nonline.htm

This site is current as at 13th July 2003 and the NCRG reserves the right to update it from time to time as details change. Email: exams@ncrg.org.au for any changes.
