VK6ANC operated in the M2 Section (M2 = Multi
operators 2 radios). The radios used were IC-756 PRO II and FT-2000 supplied by
Andrew ARA and John HZ. We were joined by Phil VK2BAA who flew over
for the weekend. It was a very successful weekend and was enjoyed by all members
who took part. We lost mains power for 11 hours on Sunday but were able to
continue with the help of our back up generator. We scored around 4.75 Million
points which is a record for the club. Operators were ALL VK 2BAA, 6HZ,
6XH, 6TT, 6NU, 6BEC, 6ARA, 6EH.
